Prof Chris Obisi, is a professor of human resource development, utilisation and preservation and a worthy alumnus of the prestigious University of Poona in Western India where he made a first class and secured a doctorate degree in a unanimous decision in 1993 and joined the services of the University of Lagos in 1995 He has taught both the under graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes and published extensively in both local and Foreign academic and professional journals. Throughout his brilliant academic career, his teaching, research, and professional contributions have been in the area of human resource management, industrial relations, organisational behaviour and general management.
Professor Obisi has developed an exquisite knowledge for human resource development, utilisation and preservation and also in reseting and redesigning organisations for transformation. He possesses a conscientious and up to date pedagogical rich skills that fits perfectly into solutions for resolving issues bothering on home grown work place relations. According to Prof Obisi, the hour has come for Nigeria and Africa to think Global and act local for Nigeria and Africa to come out of the doldrums and be transformed. Prof Chris Obisi is also the President of two Institutes; The Institute of Business Culture and Human Capital Preservation Nigeria and The Institute of Development and Political Culture Nigeria.
